About University Bell Ringing
This site is a simple, friendly directory of university bell ringing societies in the UK and beyond. It’s designed to help students discover local ringing, connect with fellow ringers, and keep university societies easy to find and contact.
The original “University Ringing” site was created by Jacqueline Brown as the reference for university ringing opportunities. It was initiated under the Public Relations Committee of the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers (CCCBR).
In line with the CCCBR’s Ringing 2030 vision, the project has been adopted and modernised so it sits alongside CCCBR branding and the wider Young Ringers work.
Today, the site is maintained by the Young Ringers workgroup within the CCCBR.
