Nottingham University Society of Change Ringers
Welcome to NUSCR! We are one of the oldest societies at the University of Nottingham and boast one of the most enthusiastic university ringing societies in the UK. We ring on a Tuesday evening from 7pm and on Sunday mornings. Our current pub of choice after practice (except the first of the year) is the Roebuck Inn which we can be found in until close. We are all really friendly, and have several socials per term, including NUA, and the Annual Formal Dinner in February.
The society moved between a few different towers before returning to All Saints’ where practice is now held. It is most easily reached by bus from Canning Circus with a short walk, or by tram from High School tram stop. Students also attend St Peter’s, St Mary’s, Beeston, and the twelve-bell practices at Melbourne, Derby.
We have several mascots, Scruffy, Dave and Geraldine, which can usually be found in the tower.
